The Sisters Keeper Collective hosts monthly gatherings for women of color in Charlottesville to support and celebrate motherhood. Come meet other mamas of color and discuss topics that are important to us. If you are currently pregnant, want to become pregnant or adopt, new to motherhood or a veteran mom this is the place for you! Food and drink will be provided and children are always welcome. Gatherings are on the first Friday of every month 5:30pm - 7:30pm at 300 E Market Street, 2nd Floor, Charlottesville, VA 22902.
Our space, located in downtown Charlottesville, is created intentionally and specifically to serve as a safe haven for pregnant and mothering women of color. Sisters Keeper’s intentional focus on women of color is vital for addressing the staggering health disparities that plague us, and that are tied to racism and bias. With that understanding, we have made a space that is affirming, safe, and tailored to our community's needs. To learn more about what we offer visit www.sisterskeeperdoulas.org
